- Find a quiet place to simply listen to your thoughts as they flow.
Do you believe what they are telling you is accurate?
- Begin to see your life events as if you were watching a
drama on a stage. When you stand aside, are your own
actions rewarding?
- Treat yourself to something that you love to do, like
getting a massage or taking time to be in nature. As you
enjoy, do you suddenly see a new way to act or react?

Standing aside and observing

- For this moment, let go of the past and trust in a bright future. Allow yourself to simply be. When negative thoughts enter your mind, imagine they are clouds that magically dissolve into the sky.
- Picture yourself immersed in light that protects you from all harm. This loving energy knows all about you and loves you, with all your talents, gifts, imperfections, and fears. Enjoy the feeling of acceptance, and ask doubt to stand aside for now.
- Trust that you are always successfully engaged in the right activity in the right place at the right time, for you, right now. Choose to love yourself, be patient, and be gentle with yourself.
- As you interact with others, listen to your own voice, be aware of your own thoughts, observe your actions/reactions, and identify the part of your body that grows tense. Send healing light to this area.
- These are your own personal clues. When your body grows tense, it is resisting. Life is asking you to see something new about this situation. What is it? Your heart is telling you…listen…trust…learn.

Emptying the heart
of discord

- As you get better at standing aside and observing, without criticizing yourself or others, you will begin to see that this experience is simply in your life to help you understand something new. It is an opportunity to learn. When you can reflect quietly about the event, without judging, blaming, or resenting yourself or others, you can hear your heart more clearly.
- Often, these events trigger powerful thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. Close your eyes and image the tense part of your body that is carrying these powerful feelings. Allow that part of the body to fill with the most powerful emotion, which might be anger, rage, sadness, disappointment, frustration, or envy. Choose to love yourself even in this state of deep emotion.
- As you begin to relax and accept, imagine that this strong emotion is now spreading throughout all parts of your body. Then, fill the room with this strong emotion. Imagine that it is pouring out of you and filling all your immediate surroundings. Then, imagine that it floats up to the sky and simply vaporizes into thin air.
- Continue to imagine the deep emotion flowing out of your body and floating up into thin air. Squeeze every last ounce of that emotion out of yourself. Breathe…trust…let go.
- When you feel that you cannot release any more, imagine filling that empty space inside yourself with light, love, peace, and harmony. In place of that strong emotion, see yourself filled with vital, loving energy that flows freely and easily.

Remembering our
unique path

- As we begin to stand aside, empty our hearts of discord, and remember that life is a journey where we are discovering our unique passion, we become aware of the joy that life offers us.
- We can quietly celebrate our own growth and bask in the glow of feeling lighter. At the same time, we know that we are not better than anyone else; we have simply chosen to take action to discover our unique gift. We are master of our own life, and trust others to be masters of their own lives as well.
- So, our focus remains on ourselves. We can only control our own thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions. We cannot control others. Our inner focus is not selfishness, it is self-discovery. It is intended to amplify the message flowing from our own heart. As we heal ourselves and only hold on to the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that bring us peace and harmony, we can demonstrate to others that they, too, can choose to take action according to their unique path.
- Now we can begin to evaluate our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. We are free to choose the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that we employ throughout our life. Instead of reacting subconsciously, we can now make a conscious choice about our own way of life. One by one, we can replace any limiting beliefs with the joyful love in our own heart. As we do so, we begin to attract more peace, harmony, abundance, and vitality into our life.
- Write down any thoughts, feelings, beliefs, or actions that seem to limit you, or create discord in your life. After you have thought of as many as you can, imagine replacing those thoughts, feelings, actions, and beliefs with the loving, healing energy that is vibrating in your own heart. Say to yourself, ”I permanently release (vaporize, obliterate, or cast out) all these identified discordant feelings and limiting beliefs. I replace them with the truth, love, and joy in my own heart. I choose love. I am love.”
- Trust that this process will lead you along your unique path.
